about lcrg

Our Mission

The LCRG is a coalition of individuals and organizations that contribute to the attainment of success and empowerment of the Latino community and other systematically underrepresented communities through facilitating outreach, education, advocating, and community connections.

The Latino Community Resource Group (LCRG)

founded & organized in 2013

In 2013, LCRG became a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, after many years of working in the community and being the driving force behind the annual Multicultural Resource Fair.

In 2005, a small group of members of our community saw the need and wanted to bring together different organizations across Clark county to provide services and resources for the Latinx community. That’s what paved the way for the Latino Community Resource Fair. The very first fair which was held in the parking lot of the Latino owned “Tienda De Leon” on Fourth Plain Blvd, where about 50 people attended. It had great success, and has been held every year since, as it has grown it’s been held at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, and then Clark College, RiverCity Church and most recently Hudson's Bay High School.

With the number of attendees increasing every year, we intend to be inclusive and serve other underrepresented communities. This event has been transformed into the Multicultural Resource Fair, welcoming all residents living in Clark County, regardless of their demographic background.
